What are Eyelash Extensions?

Eyelash Extensions are semi-permanent eyelash extensions comprised of individual synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are applied on to individual eyelashes, one extension at a time, for a natural, elegant look to lengthen and add fullness to the existing lashes. Each application is customized to suit the individual. The thickness of the extension applied is determined by the health and thickness of your natural lashes as well as personal preference. The overall effect is added curl, thickness and length, opening up the eye for added definition.

What are the benefits of having Lash Extensions?

Eyelash Extensions can create a younger appearance on many clients. Extensions create the appearance of a brighter, more open and rested eye, thereby creating a more youthful and rejuvenated look. Above all, the main advantage of lash extensions is how much time you can save during your beauty regimen. Eyelash Extensions allow you to spend less time with makeup; mascara is certainly no longer necessary.

How long do they last?

Natural eyelashes grow in and fall out in cycles (every 60 to 90 days). When a natural lash matures and falls out, a new lash has already been growing and quickly replaces it without us noticing the turnover. This process is constant and at any given moment our many natural lashes are at different stages of maturity. Please keep in mind this is a perfectly normal occurrence, with or without extensions.

With proper care and maintenance, touch-ups are typically only needed once every 2 to 3 weeks to replace the lashes that have shed. Shelly will add extensions to the newest mature natural lashes to maintain a full, lush appearance.

How much does it cost for an application
of Eyelash Extensions?

The major investment in Eyelash Extensions consists of the initial full set which is on average 75 extensions per eye and starts at $150 but could cost up to $175 for volume lashes. The application of Eyelash Extensions is an art form, and just as with hair styling and cutting, it can cost a bit more to have your lashes styled by the best. Once the initial set has been completed, touch-ups start at $75 and can go up depending on how many lashes you need replaced.

Weddings

This is your special time to let the professionals pamper you! The first step is to call and make sure that your date is available as dates do tend to book up quickly, especially the spring and summer months. Then, Shelly will set up a time for you to come in for a makeup trial. The trial typically takes one to one and a half hours. This is the best time to try an airbrush makeup application if you have never had one. You will have the rest of the day to see how it feels and how durable it really is on your skin. We are really confidant you will love how airbrush makeup not only looks but feels! It is very natural looking and does exactly what makeup is intended to do-bring out our best features and conceal our imperfections. After the trial you will have the option to then book your wedding date with a deposit. For your convenience, Shelly will drive to your wedding venue on the wedding day.
